DIVISIONS AND SCORING

As an event producer, our goal is to provide ALL athletes in the cheer and dance industry with high quality events.  Please note, we will have a division available for every athlete and team.  If you are uncertain which division you belong in, please contact dusty@cheermaxcompetitions.com  Below are the divisions we will be offering for the 2022-2023 Season

1.  All Star Cheer - All divisions and scoring are in accordance with the Open Championship Series and Scoring CLICK HERE

Elite, Prep (Silver and Gold Divisions), Novice, CheerABILITIES, Exhibition

*Prep Division- Prep teams will compete within their division. During awards, Prep teams will be grouped and awarded placements in two subdivisions (Silver and Gold).
This split will be based on % score. Based on last season’s score sheet, Silver Split would include teams scoring BELOW an 88.5%; Gold Split would include teams scoring an 88.5% or above. This score MAY BE ADJUSTED at a later date as we work
through the new score sheet. This is in place to ensure true beginning prep teams have a safe place to compete and a goal to make it into the gold split.

2. Dance Division- (All Star, Studio, School, Traditional Rec.) Division- Hip Hop, Jazz, Pom, Kick, Lyrical, and Variety divisions.

3.
School/Traditional Rec/ Game Day Cheer Division-  A cheer and/or chant must be performed. Mount and Non-Mount divisions are offered. Select Extreme/Max
  • Max (Elementary, Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity) - Tumbling up to Level 2 Elite All Star Worlds and stunting up to level 6 with NFHS restrictions.
  • Extreme (Elementary, Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity) - Follows Elite All Star Worlds Level 6 rules with additional NFHS restrictions.
  • College - Level 7 Elite All Star Worlds rules with additional USA Cheer restrictions.
