IMPORTANT: 2023-2024 Gym/Program Attendance Criteria
Gyms and Programs attending Cheer Max and Apex events must meet the following requirements to be eligible for a WASF World Championship Bid.
  • All Programs must attend with 6 All Star teams (may include Worlds teams).
OR
  1. Programs can opt to attend a Cheer Max and Apex Championships event in the current season with their entire program. Should a program choose an event which dates after the bid event then full payment must be received prior to bid competition. No refunds.
  2. Mileage Waiver: Programs (gym/studio) located more than 300 miles from any Cheer Max or Apex Championships event are not required to meet participation guideline #1 with additional competitive teams.

Membership Eligibility
You do not have to be a member of a particular organization to attend Cheer Max and Apex Championships events. Your athlete doesn’t need to become an immediate member of WASF to attend any championship. At whatever point your team receives a bid to the WASF World Championship or you decide to attend, you’ll need to secure membership at that point with the WASF. Please note:  WASF eligible bid divisions will incur an additional $20 per athlete added to the regular athlete registration fee.
